The MSI MAG B760M Mortar Max WIFI, released in January 2023, is a feature-rich motherboard designed for Intel CPUs with socket 1700. It incorporates the Intel B760 chipset and follows the M-ATX form factor, providing a compact yet powerful solution with a 14-phase power design, each phase delivering 75A.

This motherboard supports DDR5 memory with speeds up to 7000MHz and a maximum capacity of 192GB, distributed across four slots in a dual-channel configuration. It also features XMP 3.0 technology for enhanced memory performance.

Expansion capabilities include PCIe 5.0 x16 for graphics cards, ensuring high-speed connectivity. Additional PCIe slots include one PCIe x16 (at x4) and one PCIe x1, supporting various peripherals and expansion cards.

Storage options are versatile with two M.2 slots and six SATA3 ports. The M.2 slots support PCIe 4.0 and NVMe standards, providing high-speed data transfer and storage flexibility. The board also supports SATA RAID configurations.

For graphics output, the motherboard includes both HDMI and DisplayPort options. Rear I/O ports offer a wide range of connectivity options, including USB 3.x (20Gbps and 10Gbps), USB 2.0, RJ-45 Ethernet, S/PDIF, and audio jacks. It features seven USB A-type ports and one USB C-type port, ensuring ample connectivity for various devices.

Networking is robust with a Realtek 8125BG chipset providing 2.5Gbps wired LAN and Intel-based Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for wireless connectivity. The audio subsystem, powered by the Realtek ALC897 chipset, supports 7.1 channel output for high-quality sound.

Additional features include numerous USB and fan headers, such as USB 3.1 Type C, RGB and ARGB headers for customizable lighting, and multiple system fan headers. The motherboard is also equipped with DrMOS power stages, power heatsinks, and M.2 heatsinks for efficient cooling and stable performance. The UEFI BIOS provides advanced configuration options and system management capabilities.
